The disassembly of the bearing should be carried out as carefully as the installation. Be careful not to damage the bearings and various parts, especially the disassembly of interference fit bearings, which is difficult to operate. Therefore, it is very important to consider in advance the ease of disassembly during the design stage and to design and manufacture disassembly tools as needed. When disassembling, study the disassembly method and sequence according to the drawings, and investigate the matching conditions of the bearing to ensure that the disassembly operation is foolproof.
  
1. Disassembly of the outer ring 
Remove the outer ring of the interference fit. Set several screws for extruding the outer ring on the circumference of the outer ring in advance. Tighten the screws evenly while removing them. These screw holes are usually covered with blind plugs and separable bearings such as tapered roller bearings. Several cuts are provided on the housing shoulders. Use spaces to remove them with a press or gently tap them.
  
2. Disassembly of cylindrical bore bearings
The disassembly of the inner ring can be pulled out with a press machine. At this time, pay attention to let the inner ring bear its pulling force.
  
The oil pressure method is used for the inner ring disassembly of large bearings. Oil pressure is applied through the oil hole provided on the shaft to make it easy to draw. For bearings with a large width, the hydraulic method and the drawing fixture are used together for disassembly.
The inner ring of NU and NJ cylindrical roller bearings can be disassembled by induction heating. The method of drawing after heating the part in a short time to expand the inner ring.
  
3. Disassembly of the tapered bore bearing
Disassemble the relatively small bearing with an adapter sleeve, support the inner ring with the stopper fastened to the shaft, turn the nut back several times, and use the spacer to knock it off with a hammer.
  
Large bearings are easier to disassemble using oil pressure. The oil is pumped through the oil hole on the tapered shaft to expand the inner ring and disassemble the bearing. During operation, the bearing may suddenly come out. It is better to use the nut as a stop.
